Heartland Farm Beginnings Scholarships

Thanks to the support of the NIFA USDA Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program and the North Central Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program (North Central SARE), OEFFA is able to offer scholarships to some attendees of Heartland Farm Beginnings.

Due to systematic racism within the agricultural system, our scholarships aim to promote access to the program for Indigenous and Black farmers and farmers of color, as well as anyone otherwise unable to afford the cost of attendance. We offer two tiers of scholarships for this program and ask that you self-identify your needs. Households able to pay full tuition are asked to do so.

Please apply for a scholarship after you have submitted your application to the program.
